Setting the Maximum Advance Booking Time
Maximum Advance Booking Time allows you to determine how far in advance your customers or employees can book an appointment or meeting. This feature enables you to control how far into the future you want to offer appointments. By setting an ideal booking period, you provide a flexible and convenient scheduling process for your customers.
Follow these steps to set the maximum advance booking time:
Step 1: Go to the menu on the left side of your admin page and click on the ‘Booking’ option.
Step 2: In the screen that opens, click on the ‘Services’ option at the top.
Step 3: You can either add a maximum advance booking time to an existing service or set it up when creating a new service. To add a maximum advance booking time to an existing service, click the ‘Edit’ button next to the respective service.
Step 4: Go to the ‘Availability’ section in the Service editing window and specify in the appropriate field under ‘Maximum Advance Booking’ how far in advance your customers can avail of this service. Then click on the ‘Save’ button.
With this feature, your service will automatically be closed for any dates that exceed the period you’ve set. For example, if you set a 5-day period, appointment options beyond 5 days will be unavailable to your customers. You can clearly see this scenario in the image below.
